Overview:
The new intensive course on exotic medicine, which will be held in Avian and Exotic Animal
Clinic Brno, will be a training programme for those who wish to broaden their knowledge of advanced
medicine and surgery of exotic animals (reptiles, pet birds, small mammals). The course will be at
an advanced level with major emphasis on new methods-oriented and problem-solving approaches. The
course will consist of five days of intensive training programme. The morning sessions will include
lectures/presentations. The afternoon sessions will be organised as wetlabs focused on practical
training all steps under supervision of the course masters. This form of modern intensive training
programme (using live animals, cadavers and dummies) covers all important methods used for
practical examination, diagnosis and treatment of exotic pets, including the recent advances in
diagnostic endoscopy and minimal invasive surgery.
The course language will be English.
